We Interupt This Broadcast…..

Senator McCain was about two minutes into the delivery of a speech that detailed the level of progress made in the “safe zone” of Basra, Iraq when his live broadcast was interupted by breaking news to the contrary.

As Senator McCain spoke the safe zone was being bombarded with live fire resulting in approximately 4 deaths and 41 injuries. 

Sadly Senator McCain remained uninformed of this information and continued with his speech only learning of this disheartening news after his broadcast had aired in full.
